The Maldives Retreat is a luxury hospitality wellness project designed from women for women! Located in the heart of the exotic Islands, The Maldives Retreat aims to empower female identified people love, feel, relax and embrace themselves. Our clients – with a high status and influence around social media – aspires to make a legacy and cultivate an experience through our unique shapes and sustainable Mediterranean approach in all aspects of the project. Our main challenge is to meet all needs, from the concept and ideation to the cost of implementation, with high priority in the natura buffer zone and the Maldivian eco-consciousness in the mangrave activity. Designing The Maldives Retreat full architectural design proposal posed a set of unique challenges centered around the harmonious blend of innovation, sustainability, minimalism and inspirational parts of the scope of project.

Balancing minimalism with functionality was a constant challenge. The constant input, group of clients and big team collaborate in the most effective and efficient way, demanding high project management and team leadership for a creative strategic approach to ensure that every element not only served a purpose but contributed to the overall aesthetic appeal. Achieving this delicate equilibrium requires thoughtful consideration of both the client’s work requirements and island’s restrictions.

Integrating technology to support the lifestyle added another layer of complexity. Implementing smart solutions to enhance modularity and adaptability in all facilities, while providing comfort and relaxation requires meticulous planning to avoid any technological intrusions that could disrupt the overall design flow.
